Reciprocal Program at Leewood Golf Club
Dear Members:
Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester, NY, offers a reciprocal membership network through its association with The Cornell Club - New York. This arrangement gives Cornell Club members in the tri-state area access to Leewood's championship 18-hole golf course, dining facilities, and banquet spaces.
Key Reciprocal Privileges & Limitations
If you are accessing Leewood Golf Club through an affiliated club, specific guidelines generally apply:
- Golf Access: Usually limited to a maximum of two visits per month.
- Tee Times: Available Tuesday through Sunday (subject to availability), generally starting after 10:00 AM.
- Guests: You are typically allowed to bring up to three guests, though standard unaccompanied guest green fees will apply.
- Dining: Unlimited access to the club's dining rooms and bars is typically included.
Booking Process
As a member in good standing, you and escorted guests will be able to use the accommodations, meeting rooms, dining options, and other Club programs. The Club is stunning, the food excellent, the staff attentive!
Creating more value for our Membership is key, and we believe this program will be one you and your family will enjoy for sure.
How does it work?
A letter of introduction is required to visit the Cornell Club – you can’t just show up unannounced.
Leewood will provide the introductory letter. Please contact our General Manager, who will transmit the letter over for you: MPiccininni@LeewoodGolfClub.com or 914-793-5900 x212. It is up to the Member to make arrangements with the Cornell Club prior to requesting the mandatory letter of introduction. See their site for dining and accommodations reservation information.
Letters of introduction cannot be sent more than 30 days prior to your intended arrival date at the Cornell Club, and frankly, if you decide “the day of”, they can accommodate most late-minute requests.
Charges must be settled with a credit card upon departure; no signing of chits permitted. To learn more about the Club, please visit: cornellclubnyc.com.
If you have any questions regarding reciprocal privileges, please contact Mauro Piccininni, our General Manager.
So Leewood is offering what in exchange?
We are one of a few local Clubs in their program, and during our diligence, we discovered we won’t experience a deluge of Cornell Club members as a result. That said, we have placed some parameters to maintain our Membership Club experience, including providing no access to our pool or tennis facilities. They can dine in our Clubhouse as well as play golf after 10 A.M. (maximum of twice per month per member). All regular fees and charges apply to all guests. They will require a letter of introduction and pay via credit card as well.
General Terms
The guest fee for pool and beach access is as follows:
- Monday–Friday: $20 per person, regardless of age
- Saturday–Sunday: $35 per person, regardless of age
On weekends, we would ask that families arrive in one vehicle, as parking is limited.
The Blackout Dates are:
Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth)
July 2–5 (Independence Day Weekend)
Friday, July 10 (LSC Swim Team Invitational)
Saturday, July 18 (LSC Summer Party)
Saturday, July 25 (Swim Across America)
September 4–7 (Labor Day Weekend)
Leewood members should call the front desk at (914) 834-1516 to make reservations and provide their name and audit number so they can cross-reference upon arrival and entrance at their security gate.
Sincerely,
Leewood Golf Club
